Haha, these are my sneakers. <3 I love them to bits, I wear them all over the place. I HAVE cut down on wearing them so often though, I’m so worried they will get ruined with so much wear.
Today’s shoes. I bought this pair of shoes almost 10 years ago and they’ve served me well although I’m sure they’re almost on their last legs.
I remember wanting the all blue pair, but the store didn’t have it in my size anymore and the salesgirl convinced me that this pair was more eye catching anyway. I bought them with some misgivings but I’ve never regretted the purchase.
These shoes were with me when I dated my first boyfriend, when I went on my first overseas trip with friends, when I went for my first classes in uni. They’ve helped me start conversations, make friends, go places. After this pair, I’ve bought many other conversation piece shoes, but this pair will always be my favourite.
I’ve not really worn them for the past few years because I want to prolong their lifespan, but I really dread the day when they finally spoil.
